Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE DATE: JANUARY 1, 2026  ·  LAST UPDATED: FEBRUARY 2026
Skincheese operates a zero-retention architecture. Images processed through our browser scanner never leave your device. Enterprise API deployments purge image data from memory within 50 milliseconds of verdict delivery.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the Skincheese browser scanner, we collect no data whatsoever. All image analysis is performed client-side using AI models that run entirely in your browser. No images, metadata, scan results, or telemetry are transmitted to our servers.

When you submit the investor memorandum request form, we collect the information you voluntarily provide: your name, email address, organization, and stated interest. This information is processed through Netlify Forms and used solely to deliver the requested document and communicate regarding potential investment opportunities.

When you contact us via email at info@skincheese.com, we retain your correspondence for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

2. Browser Scanner — Zero Retention

The Skincheese image scanner operates entirely within your web browser. AI detection models (NudeNet YOLOv8, DINOv3, and computer vision modules) are downloaded once from our CDN and cached locally using your browser's Origin Private File System (OPFS). After caching, the scanner functions offline.

Images you scan are loaded into browser memory, analyzed by the local AI models, and purged from memory when you navigate away or scan a new image. At no point does any image data leave your device. We have no ability to access, view, store, or reconstruct scanned images.

3. Enterprise API Deployments

For enterprise API clients, images submitted for analysis are held in volatile memory only for the duration of processing. Image data is purged within 50 milliseconds of verdict delivery. No image data is written to disk, logged, cached, or persisted in any form. Verdict metadata (confidence scores, bounding box coordinates, timestamps) may be retained per the client's service agreement for audit trail purposes. On-premise and air-gapped deployments ensure that no data leaves the client's infrastructure.

4. Cookies and Tracking

Skincheese.com does not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising beacons, or any third-party analytics services. We do not track your browsing behavior. We do not fingerprint your device. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and the ONNX Runtime from jsDelivr CDN — these third-party services have their own privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties. Investor form submissions are stored securely through Netlify's infrastructure and accessed only by authorized Skincheese personnel for the stated purpose of delivering the requested memorandum.

6. Data Security

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3. Our infrastructure maintains SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP compliance certifications. Enterprise deployments support air-gapped and on-premise configurations for clients with sovereign data requirements.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data including access, correction, deletion, and portability. Because our browser scanner collects no data, there is nothing to request. For inquiries regarding investor form submissions or any other data, contact us at info@skincheese.com.

8. GDPR, CCPA & International Compliance

Skincheese is designed for global compliance. Our zero-retention architecture satisfies GDPR data minimization requirements by default — we do not process personal data through our scanner. For enterprise clients subject to HIPAA, COPPA, or other regulatory frameworks, our API deployments include compliance documentation and audit capabilities.

9. Children's Privacy

Skincheese does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our Education & Youth Safety deployments operate through institutional enterprise agreements with schools and platforms, not directly with minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice via our website.
